Fairfax Road - Woking
This was CBM's first major project since Chris decided to go solo with his roofing skills. A lovely lady named Pam called us out to assess her roof and provide options to update it. Her original roof was coming to the end of it's natural shelf-life and was starting to look old as well as creating some damp spots in the upstairs rooms. Due to the age of the roof and decaying tiles Chris recommended a complete strip back to timber, fitting new brown tiles to the slopes, eaves and gables whilst installing PIR insulation boards to improve the properties energy rating. Pam had solar panels on the rear slope which we had to isolate from her homes electrical system and reinstall once the new tiles were fitted. Lead flashings were installed and dressed before fitting new gutters and downpipes all round. We visited the property to start work at the beginning of March taking just under a month to complete and these are the results.
